About BibleFind

The story behind the search

The problem we set out to solve

You know the verse. You can feel it. Maybe you remember a word or two, or just the general idea. Something about light, or peace, or not being afraid. But you can’t find it.

Traditional Bible search requires exact words. BibleFind was built for the way people actually think: in fragments, feelings, and half-remembered phrases.

How it works

When you search, BibleFind uses AI to understand the meaning behind your query, not just the individual words. That understanding is matched against a full index of Bible verses to find the closest result.

The result is a search that feels intuitive. Type something like “God has good plans for me” and BibleFind will find Jeremiah 29:11. Type “the Lord is like a shepherd” and it finds Psalm 23. It works even when your memory of the verse is imperfect.

Voice search

Tap the microphone icon and speak naturally. Your browser converts the audio to text, so it never leaves your device. The transcribed text is then searched the same way as anything you type.

Translations

BibleFind supports NIV, KJV, NKJV, and WEB. Switch between them freely. Every verse is available in every supported translation, so you can compare or read in whichever version you prefer.

A note on accuracy

AI-powered search is remarkably good, but it’s not perfect. Sometimes BibleFind will surface a related verse rather than the exact one you had in mind. We recommend verifying anything important against a trusted Bible.

Built with care

BibleFind is built with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and a search stack designed for speed and relevance. We believe a tool this purposeful deserves a design that gets out of the way: calm, focused, and fast.
