Cookie Policy

BibleFind is light on storage. We don’t use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. Everything we store lives in your own browser.

What cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of data stored in your browser. BibleFind primarily uses local storage, a browser feature that keeps data on your device without expiry dates or cross-site tracking. Neither we nor third parties can read your local storage from other websites.

What we store

Saved verses

Verses you bookmark are saved locally so they persist between visits. This data never leaves your device.

Recent searches

Your last few search queries are stored locally so they appear as suggestions on the home screen.

Translation preference

Your chosen Bible translation (NIV, KJV, etc.) is remembered so you don’t have to reselect it each visit.

Cookie consent

Your response to the cookie banner is stored so we don’t show it to you again.

No third-party tracking

We do not use advertising cookies, social media pixels, or any cross-site tracking technology. BibleFind uses trusted third-party services, including AI systems, to process your search queries and voice input. These services follow strict data protection standards and exist only to make BibleFind work well.

Managing your data

You can clear all BibleFind data at any time through your browser’s settings. Look for “Clear site data” or “Clear local storage” in your browser’s developer tools or privacy settings.

Clearing this data will remove your saved verses, recent searches, and preferences. The app will still work. It just won’t remember your previous activity.
